Warranty

Electrical Appliances:

Warranties of the Electrical Appliances are individual to each product and held with the manufacturers or distributor of the Brands. Warranty claims are handled directly by the Australian Supplier or Manufacturers of the products. Warranty periods and rules will vary and are at the discretion of the brands not Smarthomeware. Warranty information is in most cases, an in-box inclusion with each product. If you have any queries, you can contact us, and we will advise of the process and any contact details for your convenience.

 

Tap Mixers:

10 years body part only replacement

1 year replacement products or parts (labour costs excluded)

Note: excludes damage to ceramic disc cartridges from pieces of copper tuber etc

 

Toilets:

Vitreous China 5 years replacement

All internal mechanisms 1 year replacement

All toilet seats (exclude smart bidets) 1 year replacement

 

Basins:

5 years replacement products or parts

 

Sinks:

5 years replacement products or parts

 

Warranty Conditions

This warranty will apply only under all the following conditions:

  • The item has been installed by a licensed plumber and electrician
  • The item has been installed for and subjected to domestic residential use only
  • Failures due to a fault in the manufacture of the product
  • Proof of purchase including the date of the purchase is provided
  • The installation of the product is in accordance with the instructions provided

This warranty does not cover products purchased as an ex-display without being fully checked and tested for sale by the manufacturer. This warranty does not include faults caused by:

  • Incorrect installation or installation not in accordance with the instructions provided
  • Installation or part installation by the purchaser or any person or any person other than a LICENSED PLUMBER and a LICENSED ELECTRICIAN
  • Unsuitable or improper use
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Inadequate or complete lack of maintenance
  • Chemical, electrochemical, or electrical influences
  • Harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners used on product finishes

This warranty is limited to repair, credit, replacement, or missing parts only. Labour charges and/or damage incurred in installation, replacement, or repair, as well as incidental and consequential damages are excluded and will not be claimable against Smart Homeware.
